Click on "Arcade ModCP" and nothing...

It only takes me to the main page of the arcade.

When I am in the AdminCP, and click on "Arcade-Group Permissions", it also only takes me to the arcade start page.

What have I done wrong? I'm using 2.6.8 on vB 3.7.4

I can't seem to get to any controls for the arcade.

TIA

Would someone please answer my question? Thanks!

Have you tried re-uploading all the files? :erm:

Hi Gemma! Long time no see! Thanks for answering. No, I haven't. I think I just found the cause, now I need to know how to fix it. The URL that the "ModCP" link lists is the URL for my forum main page. I'm assuming that it should direct towards the ModCP.php file.

If this is correct, how do I change the URL that the link uses in the Arcade?

Thanks a million! (Again!)

I see the upgrade that just came out. I'm going to install it and see if it fixes the ModCP menu problem. It might repair whatever is wrong all by itself during the upgrade.

...and ? Everything fine now ?

I don't know enough about how to do the upgrade to perform it.

I'll have to find someone who will do the upgrade for me.

I'm sorry, but I'm not a programmer. I just don't dare mess with it.

ModCP not working, although all files are correcy and in place.

But: vbSEO is running there, I am sure that this causes the problem.

I checked with the vbseo staff and they suggested turning off vbseo and seeing if the problem persists.

It did.

With vbseo turned off, the ModCP still won't work.

Is there anything else that you can suggest to resolve this problem?

I haven't heard of others having the same problem, so it may be specific to my setup.

I sure would like to be able to use the ModCP later when the site is large enough to have Mods.

It isn't an emergency now. I just want to resolve it before it *does* become a problem with Mods helping in the arcade.

Can anyone tell me what next steps I can take to find the cause of the ModCP not working?

vBSEO can't be the problem if the problem still persists after vBSEO is turned off, right?

Where can I find the code that makes the ModCP link work? Perhaps the code itself was altered somehow.

I would really appreciate someone working with me on this.

Ok, then please provide access-data (AdminCP+FTP) again via PM and I will try to find the problem...

Ok, then please provide access-data (AdminCP+FTP) again via PM and I will try to find the problem...Thanks MrZeropage, but I don't want to leave access to my web-hosting page and site admin open indefinitely. When you're ready to take a look at the problem, let me know and I'll open the permissions for you. I'm sure you understand.
